University of Pretoria have secured the services of former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Samuel Julies.
The ex-Brazilians midfielder has joined AmaTuks as a free agent after parting ways with Ajax Cape Town three days before the transfer window deadline in January this year.
Julies also played for Chippa United before moving to Cape Town to join the Urban Warriors last season.
AmaTuks coach Zipho Dlangalala has confirmed to KickOff.com that Julies is now their player.
“We couldn’t just let such talent go to waste,” said Dlangalala, who also confirmed that striker Mame Niang was no longer with the Tshwane side.
“He went back to Norway,” he added.
University of Pretoria beat Maccabi FC 1-0 in a league match played in Soweto on Saturday.
