FC Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo is “praying” that his national teammate Neymar returns to the club from Paris Saint-Germain in the not too distant future.
Despite being in only his second season with the French champions, there has been countless reports of the 26-year-old’s desire to return to the Spanish kings, with Arthur trying to convince him.
“I personally am praying for him to come because he is a star, it is indisputable, and I think that the better players the team have, the better, ” Arthur told MundoDesportivo, according to FourFourTwo.
“Personally, I am doing a lot of work to get him back, but he has his life, he knows what he’s doing and I don’t know how deep those negotiations are, if there are options for him to come or not.
“But he is a personal friend and a professional that I admire a lot and would be very happy if he could come back here.”
PSG has gone 13 points clear at the top, partly with the assistance from Neymar with 11 goals from 12 games.
His partnership with Kylian Mbappe and Edison Cavani is fearsome and is regarded as one of the finest across the globe.
