Chipezeze: We'll stick to our game plan

Baroka FC goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze expects an interesting battle when they take on a rejuvenated SuperSport United at Lucas Moripe Stadium this evening.

Bakgaga are languishing in 14th place on the Absa Premiership standings, just four points ahead of bottom of the table Maritzburg United. Fourth-placed Matsatsantsa, meanwhile, are just four points behind leaders Bidvest Wits following their run of three consecutive victories. A lot can still happen between now and the end of the season.

Baroka could find themselves dropping to 15th place by the end of the weekend if they fail to win and Free State Stars beat Bloemfontein Celtic in the Free State derby on Sunday.

“We just take each game as it comes,” he tells

“We’ll just go there to try and enjoy and make sure that we get a positive result. They’ve been doing well, so this fixture is interesting because we are fighting to survive.

“They also want to be in the top four so it’s two teams trying to achieve something. We’ll just stick to our game plan, they have got their own game plan. It’s football, so let’s just go there and make sure we come out with positive result.”

KickOff is 20h15.
