Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp felt the 1-1 scoreline was not a true reflection of the game against Orlando Pirates.

Daniel Cardoso’s penalty was cancelled out by Thembinkosi Lorch as the two Soweto giants shared the spoils on Saturday afternoon.
When asked if the draw was a fair result, Middendorp told SuperSport TV,”“No, no, absolutely not, with where we’re coming from with the youngers in the team, I understand we’re playing a Champions League playing club.
“But a bit more drive, a bit more going into it and we deserved to win with a one goal advantage, because of the tactical advantage, because of the drive we’ve seen in the beginning. It should be normal, maybe a 2-1 then we could say it.”
The Chiefs coach aslo went on to explain his halftime switch which saw Philani Zulu replace Happy Mashiane.
“We changed with 1-0 leading, bringing on [Willard] Katsande but the structure was the same. It was just a change of the young guy [Happy Mashiane] and Philani Zulu in. It is just not to burn somebody in this age, in his first experience he got a little bit unconcentrated [not concetrated] I could see. That was all.
