Euro qualifying groups revealed

The draw for the 2020 UEFA European Championship group stage qualifiers was made in Dublin on Sunday afternoon.

The tournament has expanded to 24 teams from the usual 16 and will take place arcross 12 cities in Europe.

20 teams will qualify via the normal route as group winners, while the remaining four spots will go down to the play-offs.

UEFA has also confirmed that no nation will qualify automatically as hosts for the first time in the competition’s history.

Full group stage draw:

Group A: England, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo.

Group B: Portugal, Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, Luxembourg.

Group C: Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus.

Group C: Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus.

Group D: Switzerland, Denmark, Republic of Ireland, Georgia, Gibralta.
