Former Free State Stars coach Luc Eymael has arrived in Egypt to start working with Premier League side El Geish FC.
The Belgian coach parted ways with Ea Lla Koto last week and has confirmed that he started working with the Egyptian side today. He will officially sign a contract with the club on Monday.
“I’m in Egypt with El Geish, it’s the club of the army in Cairo” Eymael tells KickOff.com.
“I have not yet signed but I already gave training, will sign a short-term contract until the end of May with a buy-out clause. I hope one day that I will able to come back to a big team in South Africa.
“But one thing at a time, now I’m focusing on my job here sure. I wanna again thank all the fans and the people at Free State Stars who supported me, all my players again.
“I will sign officially on Monday until the end of May.”
The club is currently seventh on the Egyptian Premier League table after 14 matches, nine points behind leaders Zamalek.
