A prolific Ghana striker made African history this week as he marked his name in the Egyptian Premier League record books as the top foreign goalscorer.
John Antwi, 26, achieved the feat by scoring a hat-trick for his side Misr Lel-Makkasa in their Egyptian top-flight fixture against Enppi, which his team won 4-3.
He surpasses the mark set by compatriot Ernest Papa Arko, who scored 61 goals in Egypt between 2004 and 2016.
Antwi started his career with Al Ismaily in 2013 where he scored 28 goals before joining Al Ahly two years later, scoring three goals.
He went on to join Misr Lel Makassa where he has now scored 32 goals in his three seasons at the club.
Despite his exploits on the African continent, Antwi has yet to make his official Black Stars debut.
