Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed a deal for a sensational return to European football after a scintillating spell in the MLS, according to reports in Italian media.
Ibrahimovic has reportedly agreed a €2 million deal that will take him back to AC Milan.
Yesterday prominent Serie A reporter Antionio Vitiello tweeted: “In the past hours meeting between Raiola and Management Milan, lasted 4 hours.
“Central theme #Ibrahimovic and other market solutions for January. The deal comes alive @MilanNewsit @RMCSportNetwork”.
According to Mediaset, the 37-year-old was offered a six-month deal and the lengthy talks ensued due to his demands of an 18-month contract.
However, it’s since been revealed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, that Ibrahimovic has accepted the offer of a six-month contract, which will also include the option of a year-long extension.
The prolific striker has been in stunning form this year for LA Galaxy, scoring 22 goals in 28 games – which saw him pip Wayne Rooney to the MLS new-comer award.
