Lukaku risks relationship with Pogba

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has risked the wrath of some of the club’s biggest superstars most notably his close friend and club-record signing Paul Pogba.

Since joining United back in 2016, in a bid to usher the English giants into a new dawn of, which David Moyes and Louis van Gaal were unable to achieve since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, Mourinho has yet to deliver Premier League success.

And within the topsy-turvy journey that has ensued since his Old Trafford arrival, the strong personality of the manager has often clashed with high-profile names in the squad.

While this comes as nothing new, due to the checkered history of his previous clubs with the likes of Iker Casillas at Real Madrid and Eden Hazard at Chelsea – Lukaku has slammed some of the recent behaviour within the current set-up.

While he refused to directly implicate specific names, he didn’t hold back in his assessment of how it should be dealt with.

“I think he has a good relationship with the players,” Lukaku told Bleacher Report when asked about Mourinho’s treatment of the players.

“I don’t really pay attention to what his relationship is with the other players, to be honest. I don’t think it’s something that should affect me.

“If he [Mourinho] has an argument with somebody I mean, deal with it, man. You’re a grown-a** man, deal with it.”
