Mosimane: I tell it like it is

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says will not shy away from speaking about the performances of referees in the PSL.

Mosimane was at it again when he lashed out at referee Daniel Bennett and his team of officials, who were in charge of Sundowns’ Absa Premiership match against Bloemfontein Celtic at Loftus Stadium on Saturday. It finished goalless.

’Jingles’ has been  hitting hard  on  match officials in recent times  due to their poor performance on the field of play.

Mosimane nailed  it on the head of Bennet again after their match against Siwelele which finished into a goalless draw.

“You have to budget for those things in football because if you don’t budget for that you will get frustrated. It’s okay, he [Bennett] knows. What can I do?” asked Mosimane.

“If he does his match analysis…he will do that. I think there was a break in the 90th minute this side, their [Celtic] break, the linesman was late for me. For me it looked offside.

“Maybe I am wrong. I am happy to be wrong but I will talk. It’s my life, it’s my journey, it’s my business. I have invested a lot of emotions, all my young days from youngster to be where I am [now] and today I must play nice guy? I must be polite? No, I say it the way it is. It’s life, it’s football. I spend hours working hard on this thing and so I must try behave like a gentleman and don’t talk about it? No, I will talk about it,” he added.
