On Saturday they clash again in a Telkom Knockout semi-final encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban at 15h00.

Chabalala advises Pirates’ technical team to start with Thamsanqa Gabuza upfront tomorrow as he assumes a new strategy will be required.

“It’s going to be tough because it’s a cup game and a Derby,” he tells KickOff.com.

“But when I look at Pirates I see favourites you know, they have got speed going forward and the technical team of Pirates I think they will play a good role for Pirates to go through. Though it won’t be like in the last Derby but I see Pirates winning. But because it’s a cup game obviously the approach is going to change, but still for me Pirates has already got an upper hand.

“Happy Jele has played in a lot of Derbies, and in the middle there’s the likes of [Ben] Motshwari, [Xola] Mlambo, [Luvuyo] Memela or [Thabo] Qalinge, or [Thembinkosi] Lorch.
