Serie A: Dzeko rescues Roma with late winner

A late strike from Edin Dzeko stretched Roma’s unbeaten run in all competitions to four matches after a 3-2 success over Frosinone at the Stade Benito Stripe.

Accompanied by Lorenzo Pellegrini, Dzeko had earlier cancelled out Camillo Ciano’s fifth minute effort to give the Romans a 2-1 lead at the break.

Andrea Pinamonti looked to have grabbed a point for the hosts in the final minutes, but his and their wish fell into faltering when Dzeko struck in the fifth minute of time added on.

The win sees Roma move to within in a point of fourth-placed AC Milan, while Frosinone remain in 19th position.
