Tlhone training with Leopards

Black Leopards head coach Dylan Kerr has confirmed that Bokang Tlhone has been training with the club and indications are that he has signed a deal.

Sources inside the club have confirmed that Thlone, who started training with the team last Tuesday, has finally signed.

Thlone has been without a team since parting ways with Maritzburg United in January.

“Grosso? Yes, I think he arrived here last Saturday, but I think he started training Tuesday if I’m not mistaken, and yes he has signed,” the source tells KickOff.com.

A second source close to the player also confirmed he has signed.

“They [Leopards] don’t want anybody to talk about it, they want to be the ones who announce it,” the second source said.

Kerr, however, says Leopards have not signed the player yet

“No we have not, not a chance.” Kerr tells KickOff.com.

“Which new player? We haven’t signed him. He’s trained twice, but nobody is going to sign. We’ve made ourselves clear about that until we either at NFD or PSL, until we mathematically safe in the PSL nobody will be signing with this club. I have just arrived back from the UK, find out that [he] was signed…apparently we signed this player, and as far as I’m concerned we’ve signed nobody.
